25 years ago or so I saw a concert that I'd never forget. The Blasters and X double bill.. oh and I think it was Dwight Yoakum opening for them. Now another double bill that I'll never forget, The Rollins Band and X. I'm not really sure why they are touring together, though both can be connected to the pinnacle of "punk" bands they still aren't the same styles. Not that I'm complaining mind you, I got two great shows for the price of one. Who can argue with that eh?.
For the first time I got to shoot X and I couldn't have asked for a better time for it. I think Rollins preferred no gels in the lights so all the stage lights were white and when X got onstage I basically had a studio setting to shoot. Ok a smokey studio with bad angles and moving models but at least no over abundance of red gels for a change. I shot my 3 songs worth of photos and for the most part I am satisfied with the stuff I got.
