The 69 Eyes

Oftentimes I'll state that I honestly enjoy an "opening" band a lot more than the headliner of any given show. The 69 Eyes is another example of that observation. They opened for Cradle of Filth which is not so much my type of music to be honest but always fun to shoot. The 69 Eyes however I got crap for photos for some reason but I really liked the music so it wasn't a total wash. To me it was a cross between Type O Negative and the Cult with early Iggy Pop influences, but with a better beat.
Ok goth is not usually my thing but for this I'll make an exception, besides it's guitar driven power goth and not just synth goth so there is some talent going on here. I hear they are out of Finnland as well which means the streak of bands I like out of Finnland and Sweden more than American bands for the most part continues.
