Soilwork

Another crowd pleaser this night, Soilwork got it's fair share of crowd surfers. Still I don't get the appeal of grunt metal, or whatever the technical classification may be. I can't say they suck, since enough people in the know about this sort of music seemed to really enjoy them. I'm just not in the position to make a educated review of their music. As for show they put on a energetic show, which unfortunately was in an opening slot so the lighting was not really good enough for shooting. Oddly enough they seemed to have worse lighting overall than SYL who played before them. I'm not sure how that happens. Well it is black metal .. I just thought that meant attitude and not the end of the lighting spectrum they prefer.
