I really didn't know who Particle was when I went to the show. I was actually going to see the opening band Drums and Tuba. Who unfortunately had to cancel. Particle was a good jam band for the most part. A bit of booze or something would have enhanced the experience most likely but still an interesting band. They had a couple of mics up there but for the life of me I can't recall them ever using them even once. I figured at the end maybe.. "Thank You and Good Night!" or something. Seems like a waste of time to set em up if you are predominantly an instrumental band. But what do I know I guess.
