KMFDM

I'd been looking forward to this show since I saw it listed on the calender. I'm not going to say I'm the biggest fan but I do have a few of their albums and I've wanted to seem em for quite some time. Luckily I was able to use flash for this show since they had no front lighting to speak of. It took awhile but I sort of got the hang of shooting the flash and still getting the concert " feel" to my shots. Basically I just shot the flash as weak as I could to use as a fill flash and then kept the shutter open a bit longer than usual to catch the stage lighting. Overall I'm pleased with the results given the fact that the whole thing would have been a wash for the most part without being able to flash. So I have to give the band a lot of credit for allowing us to shoot that way. I could easily get used to the luxury of fill flash, I really could.

As for the rest of the show. I guess I'm going to have to buy some more KMFDM CDs since more than half the songs they did weren't even on the ones I own, and I liked what I was hearing.
