Joe Bonamassa

Several months ago Joe was booked at the Meridian and he cancelled. Luckily he scheduled this show at a later date. The first time around I didn't really know anything about him. (it happens). So I did a bit of research and checked him out. Needless to say I was anxious for the show by the time it came around. I'm a big fan of Kenny Wayne Shepherd and Johnny Lang so it wasn't a stretch I think to get into Bonamassa. And as I expected he was every bit as good live as I had come to believe he would be. The funny part of the show was that most of the audience was as old as me or even older. Sometimes I think maybe people of my generation really are the last ones to understand what good music is.
