No post processing on these pics, sorry been to busy this week to get in and tweak the photos. Lucky the lighting at the Meridian is good enough that I'm able to get decent shots that don't always require post. I didn't manage to get many photos of the opening band at all, but that's ok since they'll be playing the following week with Spoonfed Tribe, I'll just get them there. The 2nd band I got some shots of but that almost didn't matter since they were actually the 3rd band as well. Seems Jerry Joseph hires his opening band to be his backup band. You know when he eventually gets tired of solo acoustic stuff.
I was up front of the club, technically outside the front door and some people were leaving about 15-20 minutes into the set and I asked em why. They were like "Not my thing, it's just some guy up on stage with a guitar" and "Where is the band?". I decided to go in and see if things sucked as bad as they led me to believe. I was fearing that this guy was gonna be bombing bad. Anyway I went in and he was not bad at all. I guess some people expect certain kinds of shows at big venues and when they aren't all lights and volume it screws em up. Eventually he brought out the rest of the band and things picked up and it became a rock show. but not before a few people had left. I guess it was their loss.

On a side note.. is it just me or does Jerry Joseph look like Dave Attell?
