Honky

Honky was last band to go on, on the night of the Joe Claytor Memorial Benifit show. I'd seen the name before and friends from the Continental had mentioned them to me before but I'd never had the chance to catch em. I'm glad I did. Think Nashville Pussy without chicks and a bit more balls.. Actually I liked em more than Nashville Pussy. Which is funny since they are doing a opening slot on Nashville Pussy's tour next month. It'd be another one of those I'd go to the show to catch the opening band more than the headliner type things. I'm ok with that.
Anyway if you live in Austin they play Continental a lot and if you like your music raw and hard without a hint of british invasion.. unless you count Motorhead as a british invasion, check em out. Music to make you proud to be a honky.. or something.
