Hed Pe Hed Pe is not my kind of music at all. Though
I'll give em that they have some talent. The beat and the reggae stuff
was awesome, and it beats out death metal/grunt metal in the vocal dept.
as well. But it just ain't my thing overall. Coupled with the fact they
had not photo pit.. (annoying to only me I'll admit) and an abundance
of blue light (instead of red for a change) which looked cool enough but
proved to be as hard as red lighting to actually shoot. I got like 3 pics
I was even happy with. But that's better than I got for Kottonmouth Kings
who went on after them. It's too bad because I could have gotten some
good stuff if the lights were just a bit more... existant. Oh well. At
least there was good attendance to the show and the fans really got into
Hed Pe, maybe even more than the Kings. Hell even if I don't get it, I
like to see someone out there enjoying live music. Cause even a bad night
out with the bands beats sitting at home watching TV. |
