GWAR
It's been a few years
since I've seen GWAR and it's the first time I had the chance to shoot
em. Not an easy thing to do. They don't even put restrictions like,
3 songs and out. I guess they figure if you are brave enough to get
in the photo pit you deserve what you can get for as long as you can
stay in. I think I shot about 30 seconds in the pit and got out of range
of the "show", I used the longer lens and shot a bit further
out but it's a challenge; fog going full bore, and a fast changing lighting
dynamic, more for a less than stellar results. So I stayed out of range
and out of contact with those who had been in range for the most part
and enjoyed the most amazing stage show on the road.
GWAR knows how to put on a spectacle, that everyone but the janitor
can dig.
