Dollyrockers

I had been shooting another show and left it early so I could catch Mike and Steve O's newer side project opening up for PDB. I wasn't really sure what to expect, I mean here is a band that consists of 2 to 3 members of one of my favorite "punk" rock bands who are dedicated to "killing rock and roll". They are fronted by a chick with a deceptively deeper voice than you'd think you'd hear coming from such a petite frame. The music is a lot more Americana than I expected, It's rocking, bluesy and has a good beat but I couldn't dance to it. That's mostly because I personally can't dance. Seriously though, I had no idea these guys could like this or more accurately I had no idea they would.
The jury is still out on the vocals, as they weren't coming out a strong as I bet they could, but that may have been the mix at Rudz or even where I was sitting. I'm willing to sit through another few shows to find out though.
