Cowboy Mouth
It'd been a few since
I'd seen Cowboy Mouth, I'd forgotten how much fun and what a interactive
party band they are. Though in my evil little mind the first thing I
think of when I see Fred is Joe Cocker on Drums and toss in a bit of
Chris Farley's body builder character while you're at it. It's probably
the wild flailing arms and the legs that look short behind the drum
set.. even though they aren't really.. maybe some weird optical illusion.
Anyway If you want a great for your spirit rocking good party, this
is the band you want to be at the helm. They celebrate life like no
other band out there except Roger Clyne.
There is no way photos
can do the show justice really. Mostly because you can't capture the
audience screaming out the lyrics with the band and the fact that half
the band is in the dark.. since they don't generally light up the audience.
And believe me the audience is a part of the show. They feed off the
band which feeds off of them. It's nice to see a band that "gets
it" about approach their audience.
On a side note, as I
was hanging out after the show they needed some help with loadout..
So now I can say I've been a Cowboy Mouth roadie and payed for being
it.
