Breaking Benjamin

I didn't get as many shots as I'd have liked as there were a total of 6 photographers in the pit all of a sudden. I don't even know who 3 of em were. One thing besides being crowded they were not very adept at staying out of frame or making little a nuisance of themselves.. So I got what I could and got out. Normally I make up shots later with the 70-200mm lens from the side or back near the bar, actually I prefer those shots as I get better angles. But the crowd was packed so tight that I couldn't really get anything lined up. And I also got sidetracked by finding my laptop soaking in water under a dripping A/C unit. This may have permanently shorted out the touchpad on the system at the very least. So I have fewer good shots of these guys than I'd like.
Oh and I played around with the Canon 10-20mm ultrawide lens which is really to slow for concert stuff but I wanted to give it a try cause when it works it makes some cools shots. img3493 is an example of it almost working.

Musically they put on a good show and have some rabid fans. Not as violently so as Social Distortion though, which is a good thing. And after the show they came out and socialized with fans and signed autographs which is always a good sign in my opinion of a band that isn't complete corporate whores.. Or maybe they were just cruising for groupies, hell I don't know.
